| Happy Onam |
Despite a year of toil and tears, each Malayalee celebrates a day to rejoice. A day to cherish the spoils of his sweat and tears. A day that beacons hope and reflect his dreams about the year yet to come. The pomp and glory of Onam might have eroded but one cannot take this festival from the life of a Malayalee. A day that is much awaited no matter which part of the world a Malayalee ends up. Onam is more than a religious festival, for most of us it is an emotional celebration that is an integral part of everyone who have took a breath in Kerala.
