Irinjalakuda is undoubtedly one of the most scenic towns in Kerala. What makes the days of Utsavam special is the unique Kathakali performances in Irinjalakuda Koodalmanikyam Temple during the Utsavam days. Carrying over years of unbroken tradition. The venue have honoured many legendary artists in Kathakali. The performance is scheduled late at night and continues till early morning. At morning I happened to realize how beautiful is the aesthetics of the architecture. The first rays of the rising sun made it an amazing experience.
